Traue was selected to play the main female character for Pandorum (2008) which is the sci-fi/thriller film directed by Christian Alvart and Travis Milloy. She was born in New York USA and grew up in Jamaica. Her parents are originally from Jamaica but settled on New York. She earned an BSc diploma in Chemistry from Stony Brook University.
